Production Journey Ident 2

Animating Before the ident could start being produced, I required the necessary elements in order to make the stop motion animation consisting of the necessary pieces in order to build the sets and sort the needed props out, the necessary Lego characters will be needed for the ident and the necessary script would need to be created in order to complete the animation. Once all the necessary elements were ready the animating for the second stop motion animation ident had begun and in the first session of animating the ident, I had animated all the shots that are on the shooting script. Due to there being time constraints with the creation of the ident I was unable to take multiple versions of the same shot in order to find the best out of what was animated.

Editing The footage after being animated was then collected and was then uploaded onto a mac pc in order to be able to create the ident. The footage was then added to the timeline in order to start the process off and from there I was able to edit the footage so that it was able to be accurately fit the timing for the project. Once the editing process was complete the first version of the ident was then exported from final cut pro and was then uploaded onto YouTube so that the ident could be viewed by others.

Audience feedback After being uploaded onto YouTube the ident was then shown to three induvial in whom provided their feedback and thoughts on the second ident. Once the feedback was collected it was then evaluated in how useful it would be in improving the ident so that the second version would be better than the first. Once this was done with the necessary feedback collected the needed improvements could be added in order to make the next version of the draft better.

Alterations With the feedback that was collected from the audience they had decided that adding in audio would be the most appropriate course of action in order to improve the ident. The needed audio that was needed to improve the ident was recorded in two separate sections. The first was for the sound effects that are needed to be applied into the idents in order to make the idents better and in the second session the needed audio in the form of vocals was recorded in order to bring the character to life better. Once these audio pieces were recorded, they were edited in Garage band in order to make them sound as best as it can and then exported onto Final cut pro to be added onto the idents and was then exported onto the YouTube.
