P1 Defining audio visual Promos

Audio visual promos are made in order to promote and existing or new product that is to be released varying in the type of product that it promotes films or tv programmes that are relaunching. The reason for audio visual promos is to promote the product of the organisation but to also try and increase the sails for the product before its release. 

The purposes of an audio visual promos is as follows to inform target audience about the final product, educate the audience regarding key information, entertain the audience with the audio and visuals and to provide opportunities in order to sell products.

 Examples of a audio visual promos are music promos which are short video of a latest song with visuals to accompany the video i.e. Jameriqui Virtual insanity and trailers which gives information about the product as well as some scenes from it as well in order to better get peoples interest i.e. a teaser trailer for Black Adam which has several. 

TV idents provides the viewer with the information about the channel that they are watching i.e. cartoon networks idents regarding the different seasons. 

Trailers are a means for advertising a media product in order to get the target audience interested within the media project. These can come in two forms teaser trailers which come out well before the film is released in order to build excitement and proper trailers which are closer to the films actually release date to provide the target audience with more information and excitement regarding the product. i.e.  spider man no way home had a teaser trailer release months before the film was released and had trailers closer to the release of the film.
